Day 1: Arrival - Mexico City

Welcome at the Mexico City Benito Juarez International Airport, transfer to the hotel of your choice and accommodation.

Day 2: Del Carmen Museum, Saturday bazaar, Tacos & Mezcal Tour

After breakfast, we'll visit the wonderful neighborhood of Coyocan located in the south part of Mexico City and its XVI century mansions full of History and Legends, we will continue to Del Carmen Museum, this is a Historical Museum that holds more than 80 pieces from of Religious Art, plus 12 mummified dead bodies and a great garden that used to be the orchard of the friars. Time for shopping in the Saturday bazaar is one of the most colorful and visited in Mexico City, this Bazaar was first opened in 1960 and now is considered an excellent craft center that offers visitors a wide variety of paintings and handcrafts made of silver, iron, ceramic, glass, wood, and textile. Later we will visit Chimalistac, an old neighborhood where bridges made of Stone and small chapels are preserved in a colonial environment. In the afternoon, explore the delicious flavors and versatility of the regions of Mexico through the most famous Mexican food: the taco. Discover traditional and classic late-night taquerias in Mexico City. The mezcal master will guide you into the tastes of traditional mezcal of the original towns of Mexico: sweet, floral, or herbal tones. Experience the gastronomic and cultural heritage of the pre-Hispanic drink par excellence in a millenary journey. Not suited for vegetarians and vegans.

Day 3: Xochimilco + Wrestling

After breakfast, we will go on a panoramic tour of the World Trade Center, the Siquieros Cultural Polyforum, the Mexico Bullring, the Theater of the Insurgentes, the Olympic Stadium, the University City, and the lava gardens of San Angel. Then we head to Xochimilco, a UNESCO world heritage site, where we will ride an Aztec boat. We'll go to the colonial district of Coyoacan with its XVI century mansion and the impressive paintings at the Church of Saint John the Baptist. In the afternoon, enjoy the opportunity to see the Mexican wrestling in Mexico City with authentic Mexican superheroes, and appreciate the excitement. When lights come up and the roar of the crowd fills the arena where the "rudos" (Taft guys) fight against the "técnicos" (good guys). You will see the masked wrestlers execute high flying by using the wrestling ring’s ropes to catapult themselves towards their opponents or combinations using complicated acrobatic moves. The atmosphere is amazing and will be an exciting experience for you!

  • Xochimilco is the Historic Center of Mexico City. Situated on the southern shore of Lake Xochimilco, the borough is best known for its canal system and trajinera rides (gondola-like boats). This popular tourist attraction provides fascinating atmosphere, food, and music.

  • Get an immersive lesson in local Mexican culture by riding a traditional trajinera - a Mexican-style gondola - on the canals of Xochimilco, a small town with a lively atmosphere.

  • "Coyoacan" comes from nahuatel, meaning "a place with coyotes".The district has a long history and rich cultural atmosphere. It is also the most attractive tourist hot spot in the city.

Day 4: TuriBus in Mexico City

After breakfast, we travel through the history of Mexico aboard the Hop on hop off bus. See Mexico attractions: archaeological, modern and contemporary colonial, in a fun and cultural tour. The Turibus features up to 21 stops in which you can walk down and meet the city and after a while return to the bus and continue the journey. If you like you can take the second tour stop in the Cibeles Fountain and make your trip more complete. Return to the hotel (one day ticket. Transfers to the bus station are not included).
