The capital city of both England and the United Kingdom has been a focal point of Western civilization for centuries. This amazing city in the British Isles is famous for places like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and Westminster Abbey.

  • This large open area outside London's Palace of Westminster is one of London's main tourist spots. In addition to a grassy park with trees, it contains many monuments to famous historical figures such as Winston Churchill and Abraham Lincoln.

  • Kensington Palace is one of the royal residences in London, and is today most famous as the living place of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate, as well as their son George and brother Prince Harry.

  • One of the most famous palaces of the British monarchy, Buckingham Palace dates back to 1705. In addition to serving as a museum and art gallery, it has been the main residence of the royal family since 1837.

  • This world-famous ceremony takes place either at Buckingham Palace or at Horse Guards Parade, depending on the day. These guards will wear red tunics and unmistakable bear skin hats, marching to Buckingham Palace.

The Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace currently takes place on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (subject to availability), Where there is no Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace we will see the Changing of the Guard at Horse Guards Parade instead

  • Sitting atop the highest point in London, this cathedral is woven deeply into the national identity of England. Figures such as Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher are buried here, and Princess Diana's wedding took place here, among many other occasions.

  • Dating back nearly a millennia, this historic castle on the shores of the Thames in London has served many important functions throughout history. Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a museum that is open to the public.

  • The River Thames is iconic, a symbol of the city that it cuts through. Now you can take a cruise on the waters of the river and see some of the most iconic locations in London.
